AFT technology is mainly used for fast and quick intervention within the shortest time possible to control fires and reduce losses through supporting in controlling huge fires. This functionality is achieved through its unique designs with different sizes for different situations that ranges between the smallest one 10 liters which can be carried by the fireman, the 50 liters which can be carried on a motorcycle to the 300 liters which can be mounted on a pickup vehicle. Through applying advanced aerodynamics technology for flow engineering applications involving liquid/ gas mixtures,AFT water mist firefighting system has been created. The AFT technology creates a narrow distribution of ultra fine water mist, foam or CAFS using specialty nozzles.The droplets create an enlarged surface area (almost 50 times) as compared to a conventional water drop. This results in rapid cooling due to the extensive heat absorption, and the resultant steam generated expands 1640 times in volume which makes it cover a larger area around the fire and help in achieving faster control. The combined effect of cooling and blanketing results in effective and rapid extinguishing.
